wonderful experience

excellent location subway access spacious room

the location was excellent the subway station is directly under the hotel this made access to other parts of the area simple and quick the staff was wonderful i appreciated their prompt and courteous service the room was spacious i found it very comfortable and well appointed.

the hotel gym requires an extra daily fee this was unexpected.

the breakfast offered many choices including both western and japanese cuisine i found the variety satisfying the restaurant on the 17th floor offers lovely views this enhanced my dining experience.

convenient access fine view

The subway station access directly from the hotel was convenient. i loved the 15-minute walk to gion. It was super easy!!! the eastern part of town view from my upgraded room was fine. It totally exceeded my expectations!!!

i thought it was a bit ridiculous to have to pay extra for using the gym.

the staff was very helpful and polite. the location was central and convenient for seeing the sights. the free shuttle to the train station was useful.

The gym had an extra daily charge. I found this quite unreasonable. the hotel felt a bit dated, especially the bar area. the breakfast buffet had limited fruit options. Most were tinned

I was quite annoyed that i had to pay extra to use the gym. the hotel charged an additional fee for this and that was not something i expected. i believe a hotel of this supposed standard should include access to these facilities without extra charges. It felt a bit cheap, honestly. also, the fruit selection at breakfast was limited and mostly from cans.
